What to Expect on Test Day
Knowing what creates anxiety. Being prepared for the logistics of the Pearson VUE testing center will help you stay calm and focused on your RBT exam.
Arrive Early
Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time. If you are late, you may forfeit your exam fee and slot. Use the extra time to use the restroom and take a deep breath. Punctuality aids focus.
Security Procedures
You will be asked to empty your pockets and store belongings in a locker. You cannot take your phone, watch, or notes into the testing room. You may be scanned with a metal detector. This ensures exam security.
The Testing Room
You will have a computer and a whiteboard or scratch paper. You will have 90 minutes for 85 questions. If you need a break, the timer keeps running. Manage your time wisely.
