What is the High-P Sequence?
The High-Probability Request Sequence (also called Behavioral Momentum) is asking for several easy things (High-P) before asking for one hard thing (Low-P).
Formula: Easy -> Easy -> Easy -> HARD.
Example
1. "Touch your nose!" (Student touches nose) -> Praise.
2. "Clap hands!" (Student claps) -> Praise.
3. "Give me a high five!" (High fives) -> Praise.
4. "Take out your trash." (The Hard Task).
Because they are in a rhythm of compliance (Momentum), they are more likely to do the hard task.
